Cezary Ciszewski

Director, journalist, activist, street photographer, graduate of the Łódź Film School, lecturer at the University of Warsaw and at the University of Lower Silesia. Creator of the first Citizen Television and the “Miasta w Komie” (Cities in a Cell) film movement, which promotes mobile phone creativity. Author of the idea for and producer of the “Miasta w Komie” Cell Phone Film Festival. Author of over a hundred short mobile phone films, for which he has received over 50 awards at festivals in Poland and abroad. Has created and run many free and citizen media, and a network of city editorial offices/mobile scenes. He has introduced the first TV program in the world entirely made with a mobile phone. In 2008 the program received the Circom award.
