About the artist
Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard met at Goldsmiths College in London in the early 90s. They garnered acclaim by works in which they reproduced moments relevant for contemporary culture. One of their most famous productions is A Rock'N'Roll Suicide, an exceptionally faithful reconstruction of David Bowie's last concert as Ziggy Stardust. Music and performance play an extraordinarily important role in Forsyth and Pollard's work, which explains collaborations with Scott Walker, Nick Cave, and J. Spaceman of Spiritualized. Forsyth and Pollard always work and sign their works together.
