This short documentary is a meditative journey through the cosmic philosophy of Joe Staunton – poet and musician living at the foot of Burren, in a place called New Line. Joe opens a window into his private life in a small cosy camper, he spends time with us and invites us to reflect on our responsibility and influence on the creation of a friendly, pleasant world.
“Cosmic Joe” loosely touches contemporary problems caused by the wave of immigrants and refugees, it prompts us to reflect on the absurdity of the idea of borders and makes us aware of the responsibility resulting from freedom, which we all so much desire. Not in the form of dogmatic propaganda, however, but rather as a casual, free conversation in the bosom of nature.
