Steven Spielberg – one of the most famous American directors, named among the most prominent representatives and founders of the “new adventure movies.” He has never graduated from any film school, he is a self-taught practitioner. At the end of the 1960s, he created his first short professional film “Amblin.” In 1969, he came to the Universal Studios, with whom he later cooperated for many years, becoming a real blockbuster specialist. His feature-length debut “Duel” (1971) was a real masterpiece which found its way from small TV screens to cinemas in a flash.
