About the artist
Tamino Parren (1988) was born and raised in the Netherlands. He went to the Graphic Design School in Utrecht to study Film and Animation Techniques. There he developed an interest in documentary film. After his graduation he enrolled the Academy of Art and Design in Breda to study documentary filmmaking. During this study he got interested in portraying the life of the ‘individual’. Tamino observes the ordinary man whose life is usually insulated. Yet he tries to reveal the value of that way of living. The result is a closer and intimate look in a person’s life.
