Andrzej has serious problems with drugs. He is locked in prison, at special unit for old offenders. In order to fight for relationship with his girlfriend, he decides to start therapy. During this journey, he discovers his own emotions, and realizes, existence of the different layers of his own internal life. A fight for a girlfriend, becomes also fight for himself. Will he succeed in this struggle?

“Minor Accident of War" is based on a true story written and narrated by the man who lived it – Edward Field, 95-year-old WWll veteran. In 1945, at 20 years old, Field was the navigator in the 8th Air Force during the war. On his 3rd mission over Germany, his plane lost all four engines after being hit by flak and crash landed in the North Sea. Hanging on to one of the two rafts in the freezing cold water, a decision was made that to this day has affected Field.

Media artist and film director. Born 1975, studied documentary film making at the Department of Film, Television and Scenography at the Aalto University in Helsinki. His work can be described as a blend of avant garde, experimental media art and documentary film making. His films have been screened at more than 200 Finnish and international film festivals and as installations in museums and art galleries. He has won numerous awards, including the Finnish Risto Jarva Prize in 2011 for “Sweet mov(i)e,” and “Raft of the Médusa,” film about immigration won Amnesty International Award 2018 at the IndieLisboa film festival in Portugal.

Passionate about cinema early in his life, Joachim Michaux naturally chose this medium after his business studies in France and Netherlands. For several years, he worked for a video edition company called Blaq Out, specialized in the diffusion of indie cinema. He then worked on more than 200 edition projects that came from every cinematographic horizon (French and foreign cinema, contemporary and patrimonial, fiction and documentary). This experience allowed him to significantly sharpen his passion for cinema and also to develop a heavy taste for documentary cinema in particular. In 2016, he met Emilienne Paponnet. Her personality, her journey’s singularity and the beauty of her archive movies that she entrusted him gathered in his life and helped him accomplish the dream project of his life: his first documentary movie.
