A scientific-comic film about animal life. We cross a toad who doesn’t have, like us, one big baby in her belly, but a lot of little babies on her back, a dunnock polyandrous, a mother hamster who eats her weakest babies to resume forces and allow it to raise its scope, a spider who, out of maternal loving, can be eaten by her babies, and many others surprises. Rossellini embodies them with her fantasy, doing laugh by offst that she creats between the scientific speech and her staging fun and creative. A Rossellinienne exploration of animal life and life lesson for all “mammas.”

Co-creator (along with Maciej Ejsmond-Mechowski) of the Friends of Mireille Mathieu Association – LOŻA MM. Raczek used to be vice-director of TVP 2 and a lecturer at the Melchior Wańkowicz Warsaw School of Journalism. Born on April 3rd 1956 in Łódź. Film and radio director, screenwriter, producer. Graduated from directing at the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography in Moscow. Was assistant to Krzysztof Zanussi and Krzysztof Kieślowski. Had his documentary debut in 1991 with the famed “Hear my cry,” which has been awarded many prizes worldwide. Author of documentary films broadcast by television stations in Europe, the USA, Canada, Australia, and Japan. Creator of radio documentaries broadcast by the BBC and radio stations in Germany, Scandinavia, and Benelux. Lecturer at the National Film School PWSFTViT in Łódź, member of the Polish Film Academy. Winner of many prestigious awards. - Janusz Wróblewski
Publicist and film critic for the weekly “Polityka.” Studied sociology. Graduated from the faculty of Polish studies at the University of Warsaw. He was part of the Karol Irzykowski Film Studio artistic council. He was head of the television program “Pegaz” and a journalist for “Życie Warszawy” and “Życie,” among other journals. He ran the film column of the monthly “Machina.” Author of the books: “Reżyserzy” (“Directors”) and “Magia kina” (“The Magic of Cinema”). Co-author of the film script for “Pożegnanie jesieni” (“Farewell to Autumn”), directed by Mariusz Treliński. Has published in “Gazeta Wyborcza,” “Rzeczpospolita,” “Playboy,” “Film,” “Film na świecie,” “Dialog,” “Zwierciadło.” Member of the Polish Filmmakers Association and FIPRESCI, awarded the Medal for Merit to Culture – Gloria Artis by the minister of culture.
