Henryk, a young boy sentenced to death. Brought up in the love of God, he now asks himself the question: “Was it worth to spend life believing in someone who, as he believes, has forsaken him?” The boy's parents cannot accept the fact they will lose their child. The emotional mother still believes Henryk can be saved. The apathetic father hides behind the Bible and is drawing away from his son. The last meeting, the last look, the last words of the misfortunate family.
