Hinterland explores the aesthetic boundaries between cinema and digital video, creating “materialist cinema” from digital gadgets and apps that imitate retro aesthetics.
I work with video, sound and text. My main subjects of interest in a conceptual sense are rain, noise, chaos and void. I am also very interested in visual music, perception and the aesthetics of fragmentation.
